Following the conversion of the Vickers Carden Loyd 1934 artillery tractors into the T13B1 and T13B2 tank destroyers the Belgians further worked on the idea of designing a tank destroyer from the onset to remedy the conversions' faults. The T13B3 was produced by Familleheureux and had a forward facing turret, better armor and more powerful engine. The T13B3 fought the Germans in 1940 and captured examples were used by the Wehrmacht.
